Our Story

Unfinished Furniture of Wilmington began in 2009. Rod, our owner and founder, faced the uncertainty of being jobless. Determined to turn adversity into opportunity, he chose to create his own business.

In April 2009, Unfinished Furniture proudly opened its doors. With Rod and one staff member, Larry, the journey began. Over the years, the business weathered many storms, including the challenges brought by the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Today, our business continues to grow with new employees and furry additions (we are definitely a dog-friendly work place!)
