About the 1374 McKenzie Bookcase Headboard Side Piers:

This set of two side headboard piers will complement any of the McKenzie Bookcase beds beautifully. Designed to use in place of nightstands, these side piers are the same depth as the Bookcase headboards.  This gives you full access to all of the drawers around the bed. In addition, these piers are perfect for adding optimal storage to your bedroom space. The drawers feature English dovetail construction with full extension metal ball bearing drawer slides.  There is also one adjustable shelf behind each paneled door.  These piers also feature fitted backs with cord access holes for your convenience.

The piers come fully assembled and are currently available factory finished in four finishes: Glazed Antique Cherry, Fieldstone, Pecan and Java.

Alder is a species native to the Pacific Northwest. It grows in an approximate 125 mile-wide strip along the West Coast that stretches from Alaska to Northern California. The largest concentration of Alder stands just north of Portland, Oregon.
