About the Pekin Oak Bookcase (PKK3672):

This Oak Bookcase includes solid wood throughout with the exception of the shelves.  Constructed from cabinet-grade ply with solid wood facing, these shelves can withstand swelling and shrinking without bowing or cracking. This unit includes three adjustable shelves and one fixed shelf at 30″ for added stability. It features one inch increments for spacing and shelf pins are included. The square faced frame gives this bookcase a contemporary look that compliments a variety of styles. This bookcase ships unfinished but easily stains or paints to match your existing furniture or add a pop of color to your space. With a reddish undertone, Oak stains beautifully and allows the natural grain to come through. As with all unfinished items, you will need to sand this bookcase before finishing.  For finishing tutorials, visit General Finishes‘ website. This manufacturer will also custom build bookcases in this style.
