About the 1631 48″ McKenzie Cabinet:

This classic bookcase console base unit is beautiful. Use it by itself or you can combine it with the 48 inch wide hutch, model 1632 sold separately. 

This cabinet will work great as an entry table, credenza, or even a sofa back table. 

Quality materials such as sustainable American Alder hardwoods and timeless craftsmanship ensure a lifetime of durability and strength, while the spacious shelves allow for creativity and versatility where you can display books, photos, and more. 

This unit has 1 adjustable shelf behind each set of doors (2 shelves total), a fitted back, and tipping restraint for extra stability.

It comes fully assembled and is available unfinished, finished in your choice of stain (Glazed Antique Cherry, Caffe, Fieldstone, Hazelnut, or Natural Alder), in a select Sherwin Williams® paint (Snowbound, Aged White, Silverplate, or Tricorn Black), or two-tone.

All two-tone finishes will feature the paint color of your choosing on the outside and the clear natural Alder finish on the inside and the shelves. Only the painted finishes are available for the two-tone option.

Shipping Information:

Since this cabinet is sold and shipped assembled, it is too large for both UPS and FedEx and is much safer begin shipped on a pallet via freight carrier. For a shipping quote, proceed to checkout and select the “R+L Carriers” option under shipping.

Custom Molding Options:

The 1631, like all the McKenzie cabinets and bookcases, can be flush cut at no additional charge. To request a flush cut, please specify in the comment section at checkout.

For the crown to be flush cut on the left, specify “FCL” or “Flush Cut Left”. For the crown to be flush cut on the right, specify “FCR” or Flush Cut Right”. For the crown to be flush cut on both sides, specify “FCB” or “Flush Cut Both”.
