About the 1632 McKenzie 48″ Hutch Top:

This classic bookcase hutch unit is beautiful.

You need to combine it with the 48 inch wide base unit, model number 1631 (sold separately) to create a step back bookcase.

When the two are combined, they will measure 84 inches tall.

Made from quality materials, including sustainably-sourced American Alder hardwoods.

The spacious shelves allow for creativity and versatility where you can display your favorite pieces.

This unit has 6 adjustable shelves (3 on each side of the center reinforcement), a fitted back,  and cord access.

Includes a tipping restraint for extra stability.

It comes fully assembled and is available unfinished or in the following  finish options:

  •  Stained (Glazed Antique Cherry, Caffe, Fieldstone, Hazelnut, or Natural Alder)
  •  Select Sherwin Williams® paint (Snowbound, Aged White, Silverplate, or Tricorn Black)
  • Two-tone finish

All two-tone finishes will feature the paint color of your choosing on the outside and the clear natural Alder finish on the inside and the shelves.

Only the painted finishes are available for the two-tone option.

Shipping Information:

Since this hutch (1632) is sold and shipped assembled, it is too large for both UPS and FedEx.

For a shipping quote, proceed to checkout and select the “R+L Carriers” option under shipping.

FREE local pickup at our Wilmington, NC location.

Custom Molding Options:

The 1632, like all the McKenzie hutches and bookcases, can be flush cut at no additional charge.

To request a flush cut, please specify the following in the comment section at checkout:

  • For the crown to be flush cut on the left, specify “FCL” or “Flush Cut Left”.
  • For the crown to be flush cut on the right, specify “FCR” or Flush Cut Right”.
  • For the crown to be flush cut on both sides, specify “FCB” or “Flush Cut Both”.
