This headboard is available as part of any complete classic bed in the McKenzie Collection: 2809 and 2821. It can also be used with a frame adapter (sold separately) and paired with your existing frame. This headboard is available in 5 custom finishes: Glazed Antique Cherry (GAC), Java (JAV), Fieldstone (FST), Pecan (PEC), and Sherwin-Williams Snowbound (SN). It combines well with any of the pieces in the McKenzie Collection in order to create a cohesive look. It is also versatile enough to combine with other collections as well.

It is too large for both UPS and FedEx, and, as a result, is much safer shipping on a pallet via freight carrier.

Wood Species

Alder is a species native to the Pacific Northwest. It grows in an approximate 125 mile-wide strip along the West Coast that stretches from Alaska to Northern California. The largest concentration of Alder stands just north of Portland, Oregon.

Alder regenerates naturally and prolifically and flourishes in areas where other species might not survive. Its unique nitrogen-fixing properties enrich root systems, add nutrients to the soil and assist neighboring plants to establish and thrive. Also, since Alder develops so quickly, it helps prevent soil erosion and provides protection to more delicate and slow-growing species such as Douglas Fir, Cedar and Hemlock.
