The Lateral File Cabinet is the perfect solution for your office space.  It features roomy drawers that work well for filing papers, storing miscellaneous items, and much more. The drawers include English dovetails on the front and back.  In addition, they sit on full-extension ball bearing drawer glides. Use the top of this cabinet to store equipment or as a place for a decorative display. This piece ships unfinished or finished in your choice of 14 beautiful stains, 12 matte paint options, and 1 gloss paint option. It also includes your choice of 7 different knobs. Combine this lateral file cabinet with any of the other pieces in the Executive Office collection in order to create a cohesive look.

Alder Facts: 

Alder is a relatively soft, medium-density hardwood that is easy to work with and has good finishing properties. A relative of birch, the wood features a fairly straight-grain with a uniform texture. It can be sanded, painted, or stained and dries easily.  When stained, it blends well with walnut or cherry.  It is them most abundant hardwood in the Pacific Northwest.
