About the Large Transitional Pedestal Base for Extension Tables (T-17XB):

The Large Transitional Pedestal Base features a round base with straight legs.  The reduced height allows for use with a table top with a self-storing butterfly leaf.  It also pairs with your own table top to create a custom piece.  Made from solid, eco-friendly Parawood in order to ensure maximum strength and durability. This base ships unfinished, but can be easily stained or painted to match any of your existing furniture. A table mounting plate will need to be fabricated in order to use this base with your existing table.  However, the bolts for the mounting plate are included with the base. This versatile base is perfect for use with a variety of styles.
