Constructed from pressure treated Pine, this bench offers exceptional durability for years to come. It also offers protection from the elements allowing you to keep it outdoors all year. The back of this bench features a beautiful, traditional Chippendale pattern that provides both comfort and style. In addition, each slat is individually nailed for strength and durability and features stainless steel screws that are nicely curved for comfort. It seats two adults comfortably.  Use a single bench or frame your space with multiple benches for additional seating.

This bench also features the same Chippendale design as the Small Planter and the Larger Planter. Combine these pieces in order to create a cohesive and decorative look in your outdoor space. Wood Species

As a coniferous tree, Pine is a softwood.  It features a fine texture and a knotty grain.  It has a high resistance to shock, making it a great choice for furniture-making applications. Pine wood is also resistant to shrinking and swelling.  Though it is lightweight and easy to work with, Pine can be susceptible to scratches and dents.  An oil-based sealer can be used to protect the wood and also helps to bring out its character and grain.
