Made from pressure-treated Pine, this swing features wide, horizontal slats on the back for excellent comfort. It also includes galvanized bolts and a strong, galvanized chain. In addition, each slat is screwed together with stainless steel screws to ensure durability. It is the perfect swing for a humid, beach environment. In addition, this swing sells unfinished and is fully assembled. It is not available for shipping, however, we offer free local pick up at our location in Wilmington, North Carolina. Treated wood is done by chemical pressure impregnation, EPA approved and supported by many environmental groups, and used by The Nation Parks Service and Wildlife Federation. Treated Solid Wood is made to withstand all types of weather. You do not need to worry about it rotting over time. As with any product exposed to the outdoor elements, periodic maintenance is recommended to assist in prolonging your furniture.
