About the BCK3636/12CT Contemporary Bookcase:

All of our Oak Contemporary bookcases are built in Terrell, Texas. With rounded corners, these bookcases are a more contemporary style than the Embassy line by Yarbrough. They have a solid Oak face and cabinet-grade ply for the top, sides, and shelves to allow for any swelling and shrinking without bowing or cracking.

The 36-inch tall unit includes two adjustable shelves with one-inch shelf spacing. Shelf pins are included. The case dimension measures 12 inches deep and 36 inches wide.

Oak is a great choice for anyone looking for durability. It is a very hard wood that is wear-resistant and accepts finishes quite well. With a redish undertone, Oak stains beautifully with the natural grain coming through. As with all unfinished items, you will need to sand this bookcase before finishing.
