Constructed of solid Alder hardwood, the 1671DUET Addison Rectangular Mirror is the perfect accent piece for any room in your home. Pair this mid-century style mirror with several of the dressers in the Addison Collection to create a cohesive look. Or use this mirror as a stand-alone piece in any room. This mirror mounts either horizontally or vertically for your convenience. It is compatible with the 1236Duet when hung vertically, or the 1237Duet, 1238Duet, or 1239Duet when hung horizontally. It includes a selected dresser mounting fastening system, but can also be mounted on your wall.. The thin frame surrounding the mirror offers a subtle detail and allows the large rectangular glass to serve as the focal point of this piece.

Wood Species

Alder is a species native to the Pacific Northwest. It grows in an approximate 125 mile-wide strip along the West Coast that stretches from Alaska to Northern California. The largest concentration of Alder stands just north of Portland, Oregon.

Alder regenerates naturally and prolifically and flourishes in areas where other species might not survive. Its unique nitrogen-fixing properties enrich root systems, add nutrients to the soil and assist neighboring plants to establish and thrive. Also, since Alder develops so quickly, it helps prevent soil erosion and provides protection to more delicate and slow-growing species such as Douglas Fir, Cedar and Hemlock.
