About the 2081 Console:

Beautiful design and elegant details make for a striking combination in this collection made from solid American Alder and Alder veneered wood panels. Old World craftsmanship features such as English dovetail drawers, mortise and tenon joinery and fitted backs ensure structural strength and stability.

This sound bar media console is made out of the finest solid Alder hardwood.

Alder wood has a grain and density much like solid Cherry.

It has alder veneered sides to prevent cracking and splitting.

The console features:

  • wood insert door panels

  • sound bar storage

The top surface has enough room for 40 inch to 50 inch flat panel TVs.

It is available factory finished in three gorgeous stains: Java, Caffe(Limited Quantity), Glazed Antique Cherry, and Pecan.

Wood Species

Alder is a species native to the Pacific Northwest. It grows in an approximate 125 mile-wide strip along the West Coast that stretches from Alaska to Northern California. The largest concentration of Alder stands just north of Portland, Oregon.

Alder regenerates naturally and prolifically and flourishes in areas where other species might not survive. Its unique nitrogen-fixing properties enrich root systems, add nutrients to the soil and assist neighboring plants to establish and thrive. Also, since Alder develops so quickly, it helps prevent soil erosion and provides protection to more delicate and slow-growing species such as Douglas Fir, Cedar and Hemlock.
